There was a consultation regarding the issue that when cutting tape used for product packaging, the adhesive from the tape sticks to the blade, making the packaging process not smooth. In response, we proposed that by applying a water-repellent coating to the surface of the cutter blade, we could improve release properties and prevent adhesive adhesion. We applied a surface treatment agent to all sides of the cutter blade, forming a fluororesin film. As a result, it was possible to use the blade while maintaining the film's effectiveness for 10 months. It was reported that as the usage period extended, the effectiveness of the water-repellent film gradually diminished, leading to a decrease in release properties.
